Dahanukar Machine Tools came into existence in 1983, under the able guidance of Mr. Damodar Ramji Dahanukar, Mr. Purshottam Ramji Dahanukar & Mr. Prakash Ramji Dahanukar. The three brothers with a very small financial background as well as very small level of education; although they had these short comings they had the right vision and business acumen to see a good business opportunity in manufacturing quality surface grinding machines.
The company which started in a small shed of 2000 sq feet now stands in a sprawling 1 acre of land with 7000 sq feet of factory shed to its disposal. With the mentors now retired the company is now passed on to be managed by Mr. Amar Purshottam Dahanukar BE (Mech.), a mechanical engineer from MITE, Pune and Mr. Santosh Damodar Dahanukar, an MBAÂ (Fin.) from ITM, Khargar.
The company now has 10 models under its portfolio, with manual machines as well as machines with hydraulic power packs for automated solutions. Dahanukar Machine Tools is in process of making 5 new models and has hired competent technical consultants for machine designs and development to future its endeavor in providing cutting edge technologies to its customers.
Being regular participants in industrial exhibitions like Imtex, the Asia‘s biggest exhibition, Dahanukar Machine Tools has created a niche for itself by being recognized as quality surface grinding manufacturer.
With more than 5000 satisfied users in India, the company has set its goals to be recognized as one of the biggest manufactures of Surface grinding machines. Dahanukar Machine Tools has set itself a target to double its growth vis a vis last year for all the coming years.
The company not only is working in the area of increasing its size but also implementing worker friendly policies to keep its workers in good spirit.
